Al-Isra' 50–66

The denial of resurrection is answered with affirmation that the Hour is near, their deities themselves actually beg Allah, and Satan is granted respite to lead mankind astray in various ways.

Those who deny resurrection are described as hard-hearted and asking when the Hour will occur, and they are answered that that day is near.
Believers are commanded to speak good, for Satan infiltrates through evil speech to cause discord among them.
The Messenger is not a guardian over mankind but a conveyer, and Allah knows who deserves His mercy and who is given distinction like Dawud who received the Zabur.
Their deities themselves seek a way to Allah; clear miracles are no longer sent down because previous peoples rejected them, like the she-camel of Thamud.
Satan refused to bow because Adam was created from clay and then asked for respite to lead his descendants astray through whispers, wealth, children and false promises.

Verses 50-58 continue the previous verse and explain the following

Those who deny the resurrection of mankind after they become bones, their hearts are hard like stone or iron or some other great thing in the sky. They shake their heads in wonder while asking when the Hour will occur. Allah commands the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) to explain that the Hour is near. On the Day of Resurrection they will rise from their graves by Allah's command and think they have been in them only a short time.
The servants of Allah who are believers must speak good words, for Satan can create conflict among them through evil speech.
Allah is fully aware of who among mankind deserves His mercy and who deserves His punishment. The Messenger was not sent as a guardian over mankind, but as a conveyer of Allah's religion.
Allah also knows who among His servants deserves distinction, including the Prophet Dawud with his Zabur.
The deities they worship such as angels, jinn, the Prophet Isa, 'Uzair and others have no power to remove harm or avert it. They all seek from Allah and look for salvation from their Creator, Allah the Most High. They hope for His mercy and fear His punishment. It is Allah's punishment that should be feared.
It has been Allah's decree that if the inhabitants of a city are rebellious to Him, He will destroy it or send severe punishment.

Verses 59-66 explain the following:

Allah does not send down clear signs of His greatness (manifest miracles) like those sent to earlier messengers because those signs were rejected by their peoples, like the she-camel of Thamud. Therefore, the signs of Allah in the Qur'an and the universe are more than sufficient to prove Allah's greatness.
Allah informs the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) that He guarantees his safety from the attempts of the disbelievers to kill him. What Allah showed the Messenger during the Night Journey and Ascension and the tree of Zaqqum mentioned in the Qur'an is a test of faith for mankind; whether they accept it or reject it.
Satan refused to obey Allah's command to bow to Adam on the grounds that Adam was created from clay. Then Satan asked that his life be extended until the Day of Judgment so he could lead Adam's descendants astray.
Satan leads mankind astray in various ways such as through whispers, armies of jinn and men, through wealth and children with his false promises. Those who place their trust in Allah cannot be conquered by Satan and Iblis.
It is Allah who facilitates ships sailing upon the sea for mankind so they may seek His bounty. This is because Allah is Most Merciful.
