Al-Isra' 97–111
The fate of those who reject the revelation, resurrected blind and deaf and mute, the story of Pharaoh who rejected nine signs of Musa, and the conclusion of the surah about the revelation of the Qur'an and how to supplicate.
Verses 97-104 continue to discuss the rejection of the disbelievers of Allah's revelation, including Pharaoh, the causes of their rejection and their fate in the Hereafter. Those who receive guidance from Allah are those who are saved in this world and the Hereafter. As for those who go astray from Allah's way, they will be gathered at the Gathering in blindness, deafness and muteness. Then they are cast into Hell-fire and its fire never dies. All of this is the recompense for their rejection of the Qur'an and their disbelief in the Day of Resurrection.
If those who reject the truth of the Qur'an would study how Allah created the heavens and the earth, surely they would believe that Allah is All-Powerful to do all things. The sustenance they obtain is all from Allah. Why do people still hold back from Allah and His Book of Guidance, the Qur'an?
Therefore Allah comforts the Messenger while reminding him that previously Pharaoh also rejected nine signs that Allah gave to Musa and accused Musa of being bewitched. Whereas all of it was sent down by Allah. Therefore Musa was certain that Pharaoh would be destroyed. When the appointed time came, Allah drowned Pharaoh and his forces in the Red Sea. After that Allah commanded the Children of Israel to settle in a place until the second promise came, then Allah would gather them with their enemies, as explained in verse 7.
Verses 105-111 of surah Al-Isra' explain that the Qur'an was sent down with truth and gradually over 23 years. Whether believed or not, the truth of the Qur'an remains proven until the end of time. Those from the People of the Scripture who were given knowledge before about the Qur'an will fall down prostrate and weep when they hear the Qur'an while praising Allah for the truth of His promise in the Torah and the Gospel about the Final Messenger, Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).
Therefore Allah commands the Messenger so that he calls his people to supplicate or pray only to Allah the Merciful and Compassionate through His Beautiful Names. When praying at night, do not raise your voice too loud and do not lower it too much. So praise Allah because all praise belongs to Allah who has no child, no partner in owning this world, and no one can save from disgrace except Him and exalt Him with the greatest exaltation.
