Al-Anbiya' 45–57

The weighing of deeds in the Hereafter is described as most just even to the weight of an atom, then the Taurat and Qur'an are called warnings, and Ibrahim begins to oppose his people who worship inherited idols from their ancestors.

• The warning through the Qur'an will not be heard by those whose ears are sealed, and the punishment of this world is insignificant compared to the punishment of the Hereafter.
• All deeds are weighed with perfect justice, no one is wronged, and no good deed or sin even as small as an atom is forgotten.
• Musa and Harun were given the Taurat as a criterion between the right and the wrong and as light for those with God-consciousness, just as the Qur'an is also a warning full of blessing.
• Ibrahim, who was granted intelligence before being chosen as a messenger, criticizes his father and his people who worship idols merely by following the tradition of their ancestors.
• He affirms that monotheism comes from the Creator of the heavens and earth, and after their rejection he devises a strategy.

Verses 45-47 explain that the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) gives a warning to mankind through the Qur'an. Those whose ears are sealed will not be able to hear that warning. Then, the punishment of this world is insignificant compared to the punishment of the Hereafter that they will experience. In the Hereafter all human deeds will be weighed with perfect justice. People will not be wronged in the slightest and there is not a single good deed or sin of theirs that Allah forgets, even if it is only the weight of an atom.

Verses 48-50 explain that Allah gave Musa and Harun the Book of Taurat that distinguishes between right and wrong and is a light and a warning for those who are God-conscious. They are those who fear Allah even though they cannot see Him and who also fear the event of the Last Hour. Likewise the Qur'an is a warning full of blessing. It was revealed by Allah from His side. Is it still being denied?

Verses 51-57 explain Ibrahim's struggle against his people who loved shirk more than monotheism. Allah had granted him understanding before he was chosen as His messenger. He criticizes his father and his people who worship idols. They worship them merely by following the tradition of their ancestors. Then Ibrahim explains that they are clearly in error.

They reject the teachings of monotheism brought by Ibrahim. Then Ibrahim explains that the concept of monotheism comes from the Creator of the heavens and earth. Ibrahim is a witness to it. Seeing their illogical rejection, Ibrahim devises a very clever strategy.
