Ar-Rum 25–41

Associating partners with Allah is refuted with a parable of a master unwilling to share his possessions with his slave, then followed by warnings about usury, sharing provision, and corruption from human deeds.

On the Day of Resurrection mankind comes out of graves with a single call, for all that is in the heavens and earth is subject to Allah.
A single master is unwilling to equate his slave with himself, so it is impossible for Allah to share divinity with His creatures.
Islam is the upright religion that accords with human nature, and believers are warned not to split into sects that boast of their own groups.
Mankind returns to Allah when in hardship, yet disbelieve and become arrogant when given comfort and abundant provision.
Usury does not increase anything with Allah, while charity and infaq that seek His pleasure are multiplied, and corruption on land and sea is the result of human sins.

Verses 25-27 continue the previous signs of Allah's greatness.

The heavens and earth stand by Allah's will. On the Day of Resurrection He calls mankind with a single call, then suddenly they come out of graves. This is because all that is in the heavens and earth belongs to Him and all are subject to Him.
Allah began the creation of mankind, then He repeats it very easily. Therefore, it is not befitting for Him to have a partner in the heavens or on earth. He is the Mighty and the Wise.

Verses 28-32 explain that the concept of associating partners with Allah is illogical. It is not even fitting for mankind, let alone for Allah. A master will not want to share what he owns with his slave in equal shares. Allah is even less willing to share His divinity with His creatures, for they are His servants and His creation. Therefore, the concept of associating partners is not based on sound reasoning and only follows desires. The act of associating partners is the reason a person is led astray by Allah.

Islam is the upright religion that Allah has created in accordance with human nature. However, most people do not want to learn it. Therefore, return to Allah, fear Him, establish prayer and do not be like the polytheists who alter and abandon Islam, then become split into various groups with each group proud of itself.

Verses 33-41 explain:

Among human characteristics is that when they encounter harm, they return to Allah. When given pleasure, they disbelieve in favor of it. When Allah gives them abundant provision, they become arrogant. However, when they face life difficulties due to their own mistakes, they despair.
The key to provision is in Allah's hand. He will expand provision for whom He wills. This is a sign of Allah's greatness for those who believe in Him.
Allah commands us to share with close relatives, the poor, and those stranded on the path (travelers without means). This is the concept of economic development blessed by Allah. Only those who seek Allah's pleasure are able to implement it.
An economic system based on usury (interest from lending) will not receive increase with Allah. While the system based on zakat and charity that seek Allah's pleasure will be multiplied in blessing and amount.
Allah creates mankind, gives them provision, then causes them to die, and after that revives them again. His partners have no involvement in this whatsoever. Glory be to Allah from what they associate with Him.
Corruption on land and sea is the result of human evil and sin. Hopefully they realize and return to Allah.
