As-Sajdah 1–11

The truth of the Qur'an rests on the Being who revealed it, the Creator of heavens and earth who also initiated mankind from dust and is capable of reviving it.

• The heavens and earth were created in six periods, then Allah arranged all affairs from heaven to earth.
• The deeds of mankind are presented to Allah in a day whose measure is a hundred years according to human calculation.
• The first human was created from soil and his descendants from the essence of sperm, then given spirit, hearing, sight, and heart.
• Few are those grateful, and many even doubt they can be revived after their bodies are consumed by soil.
• The Messenger is commanded to explain that it is the angels of death who are tasked with taking life, then all are returned to Allah.

Verses 2-11 from Surah As-Sajdah explain the truth of the Qur'an, there is not the slightest doubt in its contents. The truth of the Qur'an lies in the truth of the Being who revealed it, namely the Creator of the universe, Allah Ta'ala. There is no doubt that Allah is the Creator of the heavens, earth and everything between them. Allah created everything in only six periods (days). Then Allah established Himself on the Throne. He arranges all affairs from heaven to earth, then all of mankind's deeds are presented to Him in a day whose measure is 100 years of human calculation. He is the All-Knowing of the unseen and the seen, the Mighty and the Merciful.

Allah is Good in His creation and initiated the creation of mankind (Adam) from soil, then made his descendants from the extract of sperm. When man is complete, Allah blew His spirit into them and gave them hearing, sight and heart. But few are those grateful.

Yet mankind question whether after consumed by soil can he be renewed? They also deny meeting with Allah in the Hereafter. Therefore, Allah commands the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) to explain that it is the angel of death who is tasked with taking their lives, then all mankind will be returned to Him.
