Saba' 1–14
Knowing Allah's power and knowledge produces certainty in the Day of Judgment, then shown the great blessing He gave to Prophet Dawud and Prophet Sulaiman.
Verses 1-7 from Surah Saba' explain that understanding Allah's power and knowledge is a factor that produces faith in the Day of Judgment and the Hereafter. On the other hand, not understanding His power and knowledge causes disbelief in and rejection of the Day of Judgment and the Hereafter. Whereas faith based on knowledge of Allah's power and knowledge produces glorification of Him. Therefore, whatever Allah informs in His revelation is accepted and believed as an absolute truth with no doubt whatsoever.
To understand Allah's power, knowledge and greatness can be proven that the heavens, earth and all that exists in them are His creation and possessions. Allah created everything based on His wisdom and knowledge very carefully. Therefore, Allah knows what enters and comes out of the earth and what descends and ascends to the heavens. Everything is based on His Mercy. Knowing all that is unseen and nothing is hidden from Him, no matter how small it is, even the size of an atom or smaller.
Therefore, it is illogical if the disbelievers do not believe in the Day of Judgment and the Hereafter. The appropriate punishment for those who reject the truth of the Qur'an, the Day of Judgment, the Hereafter and mock the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) is Hellfire. As for those who believe in and understand the Qur'an, they will know the truth of the Day of Judgment and the Hereafter and receive guidance to walk the path of Allah.
Verses 8 and 9 explain that the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) does not invent lies about Allah and is not insane. The disbelievers are in far misguidance and will certainly receive punishment in the Hereafter. The disbelievers cannot learn lessons from the sophistication of the creation of the heavens. Allah is able to sink them into the earth or send down upon them fragments of the sky. However, only His servants who hope to return to Him can learn lessons.
Verses 10-14 explain the great blessing that Allah gave to Prophet Dawud and Sulaiman. Allah gave Prophet Dawud a very beautiful voice so that whenever he glorified Allah, the mountains and birds glorified along with him, and his ability to shape fragments of iron into various instruments like armor without heating and melting.
Allah gave Prophet Sulaiman the wind as a super fast vehicle. With a few moments equal to a month's journey, molten copper and a garrison of jinn. The garrison of jinn was able to build beautiful buildings and various giant instruments. All worked according to Allah's system. If they deviated, Allah would take action against them. Allah did not give them knowledge of the unseen so they did not know of Sulaiman's death except after he fell over from his place.
