At-Tur 32–49
The accusation that the Messenger fabricates is refuted with a series of questions: they are unable to make something like the Qur'an, they are not the creator of heaven and earth, and their own way of thinking is contradictory.
Verses 32-49 continue the previous verses regarding the accusations of the disbelieving Quraysh against the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him). They fantasize or exceed their limits. They accuse the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) of fabricating. In truth, they simply do not wish to believe. They also will not be able to produce something like the Qur'an and neither do they realize that they are created by Allah's creation. They act as if they are the creator of heaven and earth, or the keeper of Allah's treasures, or that they possess it.
They are unable to ascend to heaven to meet Allah. Strangely, they accuse Allah of having a daughter, yet they themselves prefer sons. Their way of thinking is very strange and paradoxical. Meanwhile, the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) does not ask for any reward from his call to them. They pretend to know. Remember, their schemes will not avail against Allah's schemes.
They dare to rebel and associate partners with Allah besides other gods which they themselves created and do not realize His punishment will come upon them. Allah will destroy them. Then they will surrender and receive no help. In the Hereafter there will be even greater punishment. Because of this, Allah commands the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) to be patient, to glorify Allah when a gathering ends, night prayer and Fajr prayer. Allah watches and guards him.
