Al-Qadr 1–5, Al-Bayyinah 1–7
The night when the Qur'an was revealed is valued as better than a thousand months because of the honor of this Book, then the People of the Scripture and the polytheists are discussed as those who demand proof and then reject it.
Verses 1-5 of Surah Al-Qadr explain that Allah revealed the Qur'an for the first time from the Preserved Tablet to the sky of this world on the Night of Power. That night became valued as more than 1,000 months because of the honor of the Qur'an. If the Qur'an descends into a person or a community for even one day then that person or community will achieve a value in their lives better than 1,000 months. If the Qur'an descends into a person throughout their life, how great is the value achieved from Allah? Blessings in this world and Paradise in the afterlife are its reward.
Verses 1-7 of Surah Al-Bayyinah explain that the disbelievers from among the People of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) and the polytheists will not abandon their religion before clear proof comes to them. Then Allah sent the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) to recite to them the pure Qur'an containing straight teachings. The People of the Scripture rejected it after the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) came, who was promised in the Torah and the Gospel. They are commanded to implement all of Allah's systems in life. Allah will enter the disbelievers from the People of the Scripture and the polytheists into Hellfire and they will be eternal in it. They are the worst of creatures. Meanwhile, the believers who do righteous deeds, they are the best of creatures of Allah.
