Day 355 · Surah Al-'Adiyat Verses 1-11 and Al-Qar'iah Verses 1-11

Al-'Adiyat 1–11, Al-Qari'ah 1–11

Mankind is called ungrateful while witnessing their own ingratitude and loving wealth greatly, then the scales of deeds determine one's fate on the Day when mankind is scattered like ants.

An oath is sworn by the horses along with their excellence, showing that this animal was created to bring much good to mankind until the Day of Judgment, especially in establishing the religion of Allah.
Many people are ungrateful to Allah while they witness their own ingratitude and love wealth greatly.
When resurrected from the grave there is nothing one can do, and only faith and righteous deeds help, while the contents of their hearts are exposed.
The Day of Judgment is described as making mankind scattered like ants and mountains like wool blown about.
Those whose scale of good deeds is heavier obtain a happy life in Paradise, while those whose scale is lighter return to Hellfire and exit after their punishment is complete.

Verses 1-9 of Surah Al-'Adiyat explain that:

Allah swears by the horses which have various excellences. This shows that the horse is an animal created by Allah to bring much good to mankind until the Day of Judgment, especially in establishing the religion of Allah.
Surely many people are ungrateful to Allah, while they witness their own ingratitude and love wealth greatly. Be aware, mankind. When resurrected from within the grave nothing can be done. Only faith and righteous deeds can help us.

Verses 10 and 11 of Surah Al-'Adiyat continue the previous verse regarding the Day of Judgment. Whatever is stored in their hearts will be revealed. Surely Allah is Most Aware of their condition.

Verses 1-11 of Surah Al-Qari'ah explain that the event of the Day of Judgment is most terrible. Mankind is scattered like ants that scatter and mountains like wool that is blown about. The believers whose good deeds outweigh their evil deeds will attain a happy life, namely Paradise. As for those whose good deeds are lighter than their evil deeds, then Hellfire is their return. They will exit after their period of punishment is complete.
