Day 70 · Surah Al-An'am Verses 53-68

Al-An'am 53–68

The vastness of Allah's knowledge is portrayed from a single leaf falling and seeds in the darkness of the earth, including sleep as a temporary death and the command to avoid gatherings that mock the revelation.

The difference in man's condition such as rich and poor is made a test to know who is grateful.
The believer who commits a sin without knowledge then repents and reforms will certainly have his repentance accepted.
The Prophet cannot hasten the punishment they ask for and does not know the keys of the unseen, for only Allah possesses them.
Not a single leaf falls without His knowledge, and all that is wet and dry is recorded in His book.
Allah causes man to die temporarily when they sleep and returns their souls, assigns guardian angels until death comes, then the believers are commanded to avoid those who mock His verses.

Verses 53-59 explain:

Allah creates various human conditions, such as some being rich and some poor, some being strong and some weak and so on as a test for them to know who is grateful.
Believing in the Qur'an as guidance will cause the descent of Allah's mercy. Among His mercy, if a believer commits a sin out of ignorance, then repents and reforms, Allah will surely accept his repentance.
The various explanations of Allah in the Qur'an are so that the path of misguidance, sin and the path of guidance, monotheism and faith are clear.
The way of life of the Prophet Muhammad and the believers is the way of Tawhid, very clear, scientific and its laws are from Allah. While the way of life of the rebels is the way of polytheism and desires. Therefore, there is no reason for man to reject it because the Prophet is an ordinary human being. Indeed, as a human being, the Prophet Muhammad cannot hasten the punishment requested by those who deny him. Similarly regarding the keys of the unseen, he does not know them. Only Allah knows them. So there is no reason either to not believe in him and the Qur'an he brought because he is an ordinary human being.
Allah is the only Owner. He knows whatever is in the sea and on land. Not a single leaf falls that He does not know. The seed in the darkness of the earth, wet and dry are all kept in His record book.

Verses 60-67 continue the previous verse regarding Allah's power and knowledge that encompasses all things. He causes man to die temporarily when they sleep. If their souls are not returned by Allah, surely they will die. Therefore, Islam teaches supplication before sleep, the essence of which is if Allah causes death, ask for forgiveness, and if Allah sends back the soul, ask to be protected properly. Allah knows everything man does and will explain it in detail in the hereafter.

Allah rules mankind. He assigns angels to guard them until their appointed term comes. When the term comes, there is an angel of death assigned by Allah to cause man to die. No one can escape death, whoever he is.

Allah is able to save man when in danger on land and sea and from all difficulties. Allah is also able to send punishment from the sky and from the earth, creating mankind into groups that fight each other. Allah keeps all information about mankind and shows it to them in the hereafter. Then, what reason do they have for associating partners with Allah? Why can they not understand Allah's power and might.

Verse 68 commands the believers to avoid and distance themselves from those who mock the Qur'an and the teachings of Islam. Satan tries to make the believers forget about this matter.
