55. Al-Waliyy — The Protector
Al Waliy its meaning is Al-Muhib (the Loving One), An Nasir (the Helper), Al-Mutawalli Amr al-Khalq (the One who manages the affairs of His creation), and Al-Mukhtassun bi Ihsanihi (those chosen to receive His goodness).
The Word of Allah, its meaning: "... and Allah is the Protector of the God-conscious." (Qur'an 45:19)
This means that it is Allah who manages their victory, and He is the one who elevates their status, cares for them, and protects them.
Another word of Allah, the Most High:
"That is because Allah is truly the Protector of the believers, and truly the disbelievers have no protector." (Qur'an 47:11)
The awliyā' among the servants of Allah are those who love Allah and love His awliyā', help Him and help His awliyā', and oppose His enemies. Among His enemies are the ego and Satan. Whoever humiliates both, then he is indeed one of the awliyā' among the servants of Allah.
To conduct oneself with this name requires that you establish devotion to Allah and become His friend. The meaning of a friend (walī) is one whose affairs are managed by Allah, and He does not allow them to be managed by anyone else.
Its benefit Whoever remembers (dhikr) this name on the night of Friday a thousand times, Allah will surely give him authority and he will be reckoned with easy reckoning with easy reckoning that is easy.
