80. At-Tawwab — The Ever-Returning
At-Tawwab is the One who facilitates the means of forgiveness repeatedly by displaying to them the signs of His power, and directing toward them His explanations, and showing them His warnings and threats, so that when they have seen and witnessed the consequences of the sins they have committed, fear arises in their hearts, then they turn in repentance and He accepts their repentance again.
To conduct oneself with this name requires you to repent from every sin and return to Him in every condition. Whoever accepts the excuse of sinners among his subjects, friends, and those he knows repeatedly, then he has conducted himself with this name and taken much of its character.
