Supplications to Avoid Shirk and Be Given Strength in Faith
اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّيْ أَعُوْذُ بِكَ أَنْ أُشْرِكَ بِكَ وَأَنَا أَعْلَمُ، وَأَسْتَغْفِرُكَ لِمَا لاَ أَعْلَمُ.
Alloohumma innii a'uuzhubika an usyrika bika wa ana a'lam, wa astaghfiruka lima laa a'lam.
"O Allah! I seek refuge in You from associating partners with You knowingly, and I seek forgiveness from You for what I do not know." (Reported by Ahmad)
رَبِّ أَوْزِعْنِي أَنْ أَشْكُرَ نِعْمَتَكَ الَّتِي أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيَّ وَعَلَى وَالِدَيَّ وَأَنْ أَعْمَلَ صَالِحًا تَرْضَاهُ وَأَدْخِلْنِي بِرَحْمَتِكَ فِي عِبَادِكَ الصَّالِحِينَ
Robbi auzi'nii an asykuro ni'matakallatii an'amnta 'alayya wa 'alaa waalidayya wa an a'mala shoolihan tardhoohu wa adkhilnii birohmatika fii 'ibaadikash shoolihiin
"My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your favor which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents and to work righteousness of which You will approve. And admit me by Your mercy into Your righteous servants." (Qur'an 27:19).
رَبِّ أَوْزِعْنِي أَنْ أَشْكُرَ نِعْمَتَكَ الَّتِي أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيَّ وَعَلَى وَالِدَيَّ وَأَنْ أَعْمَلَ صَالِحًا تَرْضَاهُ وَأَصْلِحْ لِي فِي ذُرِّيَّتِي إِنِّي تُبْتُ إِلَيْكَ وَإِنِّي مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ
Robbi auzi'nii an asykuro ni'matakallatii an'amnta 'alayya wa 'alaa waalidayya wa an a'mala shoolihan tardhoohu wa ashlih lii fii dzurriyyatii, innii tubtu ilaika wa innii minal muslimiin
"My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your favor which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents and to work righteousness of which You will approve. And make righteous for me my offspring. Indeed, I have repented to You, and indeed, I am of the Muslims." (Qur'an 46:15).
رَبَّنَا لَا تُزِغْ قُلُوبَنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنَا وَهَبْ لَنَا مِنْ لَدُنْكَ رَحْمَةً إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْوَهَّابُ
Robbanaa laa tuzigh quluubanaa ba'da idz hadaitanaa wahab lanaa mil ladunka rohmah, innaka antal wahhaab.
"Our Lord, do not cause our hearts to deviate after You have guided us and grant us from Yourself mercy. Indeed, You are the Bestower." (Qur'an 3:8).
