Supplication of Condolence

إِنَّ لِلَّهِ مَا أَخَذَ، وَلَهُ مَا أَعْطَى وَكُلُّ شَيْءٍ عِنْدَهُ بِأَجَلٍ مُسَمَّى…فَلْتَصْبِرْ وَلْتَحْتَسِبْ

INNA LILLAAHI MAA AKHODZA, WALAHU MAA A'THOO WAKULLU SYAI'IN 'INDAHU BI-AJALIN MUSAMMAA ... FALTASHBIR WAL TAHTASIB

"Indeed, to Allah belongs what He takes and what He gives. Everything has its appointed term with Him. So be patient and seek reward (from Allah)." (Reported by Al-Bukhari and Muslim)

It is also good to add the following saying or supplication:

أَعْظَمَ اللهُ أَجْرَكَ، وَأَحْسَنَ عَزَاءَكَ وَغَفَرَ لِمَيِّتِكَ

A'DZOMALLAAHU AJROKA, WA AHSANA 'AZAA AKA WAGHOFARO LIMAYYITIKA

"May Allah magnify your reward, and let you grieve well, and forgive your deceased." (Reported by Al-Bukhari and Muslim)
