Supplications in the Morning and Evening (Protection from Calamities)
The morning and evening supplications (Supplications for Protection from All Calamities) described here are their full texts. If the length seems too much, the remembrances of Allah contained in these morning and evening supplications may be recited three times.
Begin by reciting the Verse of the Throne and the surahs Al-Ikhlas, Al-Falaq, and An-Nas.
The Verse of the Throne:
للَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ لَا تَأْخُذُهُ سِنَةٌ وَلَا نَوْمٌ لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يَشْفَعُ عِنْدَهُ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِ يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ وَلَا يُحِيطُونَ بِشَيْءٍ مِنْ عِلْمِهِ إِلَّا بِمَا شَاءَ وَسِعَ كُرْسِيُّهُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَلَا يَئُودُهُ حِفْظُهُمَا وَهُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ
ALLOHU LAA ILAAHA ILLAA HUWAL HAYYUL QOYUUM, LAA TA'KHUDZUHUU SINATUW WALAA NAUUM, LAHUU MAA FIISSAMAAWAATI WA MAA FIL ARDH, MAN DZAALLADZII YASYFA'U 'INDAHUU ILLAA BIIDZNIH, YA'LAMU MAA BAINA AIDIIHIM WAMAA KHOLFAHUM, WA LAA YUHITHUUNA BISYAI'IN MIN 'ILMIHII ILLA BI MAASYAAA', WASI'A KURSIYYUHUSSAMAAWAATI WAL ARDHO, WALAA YA'UDUHUU KHIFZHUHUMAA WAHUWAL A'LIYUL A'ZHIIM.
Allah, there is no deity except Him. The Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is [presently] before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great.
"Whoever recites the Verse of the Throne in the morning will be protected from the jinn until the evening, and whoever recites it in the evening will be protected from the jinn until the morning." (Reported by Al-Hakim, 1/562)
Surah Al-Ikhlas:
قُلْ هُوَ ٱللَّهُ أَحَدٌ . ٱللَّهُ ٱلصَّمَدُ . لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ . وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُۥ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ .
Qul huwalloohu ahad, alloohush shomad, lam yalid walam yuulad, walam yakullahuu kufuwan ahad.
Say, "He is Allah, [Who is] One, Allah, the Eternal Refuge. He neither begets nor is born, Nor is there to Him any equivalent."
Surah Al-Falaq:
قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ. مِن شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ . وَمِن شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ . وَمِن شَرِّ النَّفَّاثَاتِ فِي الْعُقَدِ . وَمِن شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ
Qul a'uudzu birobbil falaq, ming syarri maa kholaq, waming syarri ghoosiqin idzaa waqob, waming syarrinnaffaatsaati fil 'uqod, waming syarri haasidin idzaa hasad
Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak from the evil of that which He has created and from the evil of darkness when it settles and from the evil of the blowers in knots and from the evil of an envier when he envies."
Surah An-Nas:
قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ .مَلِكِ النَّاسِ . إِلَهِ النَّاسِ . مِنْ شَرِّ الْوَسْوَاسِ الْخَنَّاسِ .الَّذِي يُوَسْوِسُ فِي صُدُورِ النَّاسِ . مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَالنَّاسِ.
Qul a'uudzu birobbinnaas, malikinnaas, ilaahinnaas, ming syarril waswaasil khonnaas, alladzii yuwaswisu fii shuduurinnaas, minal jinnati wannaas.
Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind, the Sovereign of mankind. From the evil of the retreating whisperer - who whispers [evil] in the breasts of mankind - from among the jinn and mankind."
"Whoever recites these three surahs three times each morning and evening, they will suffice him for everything." (Reported by Abu Dawud 4/322)
Continue by reciting:
أَصْبَحْنَا وَأَصْبَحَ الْمُلْكُ لِلَّهِ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ، لاَ إِلَـهَ إِلاَّ اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيْكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرُ. رَبِّ أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَ مَا فِيْ هَذَا الْيَوْمِ وَخَيْرَ مَا بَعْدَهُ، وَأَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا فِيْ هَذَا الْيَوْمِ وَشَرِّ مَا بَعْدَهُ، رَبِّ أَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْكَسَلِ وَسُوْءِ الْكِبَرِ، رَبِّ أَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابٍ فِي النَّارِ وَعَذَابٍ فِي الْقَبْرِ.
Ashbahnaa wa ashbahal mulku lillaah. Walhamdu lillaah, laa ilaaha illalloohu wahdahuu laa syariikalah, lahul mulku walahul hamdu wahuwa 'alaa kulli syai-in qodiir. Robbi as-aluka khoiro maa fii haadzal yaumi, wa khoiro maa ba'dahuu, wa a'uudzubika min syarri maa fii haadzal yaumi wa syarri maa ba'dahuu, robbi a'uudzubika minal kasali wasuu-il kibari, robbi a'uudzubika min 'adzaabin finnaari wa 'adzaabin fil qobri.
"We have entered the morning and dominion belongs to Allah alone, praise be to Allah. There is no deity except Allah, alone, without any partner. To Him belongs the dominion and to Him belongs all praise, and He is capable of all things. My Lord, I ask You for the goodness of this day and the goodness that follows it, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of this day and the evil that follows it. My Lord, I seek refuge in You from laziness and the misery of old age. My Lord, I seek refuge in You from punishment in Hell and punishment in the grave." (From Sahih Muslim 4/2088. For evening, recite:)

أَمْسَيْنَا وَأَمْسَى الْمُلْكُ لِلَّهِ…
Amsainaa wa amsal mulku lillaah
If it is evening, recite:
رَبِّ أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَ مَا فِيْ هَذِهِ اللَّيْلَةِ وَخَيْرَ مَا بَعْدهَا وَأَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا فِيْ هَذِهِ اللَّيْلَةِ وَشَرِّ مَا بَعْدَهَا.
Robbi as-aluka khoiro maa fii haadzihil lailati wa khoiro maa bahdahaa wa a'uudzubika min syarri maa fii haadzihil lailati wa syarri maa ba'dahaa
Continue by reciting:
اَللَّهُمَّ بِكَ أَصْبَحْنَا، وَبِكَ أَمْسَيْنَا، وَبِكَ نَحْيَا، وَبِكَ نَمُوْتُ وَإِلَيْكَ النُّشُوْرُ.
Alloohumma bika ashbahnaa wa bika amsainaa, wa bika nahyaa, wabika namuutu wa ilaikan nusyuur.
"O Allah, by Your blessings we enter the morning, and by Your blessings we enter the evening. By Your blessings we live and by Your will we die. And to You is the resurrection." (Reported by At-Tirmidhi 5/466)
اَللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّيْ لاَ إِلَـهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ، خَلَقْتَنِيْ وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ، وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ، أَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ، أَبُوْءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ، وَأَبُوْءُ بِذَنْبِيْ فَاغْفِرْ لِيْ فَإِنَّهُ لاَ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوْبَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ.
Alloohumma anta robbii, laa ilaaha illaa anta, kholaqtanii wa ana 'abduka, wa ana 'alaa 'ahdika wa wa'dika mastatho'tu, a'uudzubika min syarri maa shona'tu, abuu-u bidzambii faghfirlii, fa-innahuu laa yaghfirudz dzunuuba illa anta.
"O Allah! You are my Lord, there is no deity except You. You created me and I am Your servant. I hold to Your covenant and Your promise as best I can. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge Your favor upon me and I acknowledge my sin, so forgive me, for indeed, none forgives sins except You."
"Whoever recites it with certainty in the evening and then dies that night will enter Paradise. And likewise in the morning." (Reported by Al-Bukhari 7/150)
اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّيْ أَصْبَحْتُ أُشْهِدُ وَأُشْهِدُ حَمَلَةَ عَرْشِكَ، وَمَلاَئِكَتَكَ وَجَمِيْعَ خَلْقِكَ، أَنَّكَ أَنْتَ اللهُ لاَ إِلَـهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ وَحْدَكَ لاَ شَرِيْكَ لَكَ، وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُكَ وَرَسُوْلُكَ. (4×)
Alloohumma innii ashbahtu usyhidu hamalata 'arsyika, wa malaaikataka wa jamii'a kholqika, annaka antalloohu laa ilaaha illaa anta wahdaka laa syariikalak, wa anna muhammadan 'abduka wa rasuuluka.
"O Allah! Indeed, I witness in the morning, and I call as witnesses the bearers of Your Throne, Your angels, and all Your creation, that indeed You are Allah, there is no deity except You alone with no partner, and that Muhammad is Your servant and messenger." (Recited four times morning and evening).
"Whoever recites this supplication morning and evening four times, Allah will free him from the Fire of Hell." (Reported by Abu Dawud 4/317, Al-Bukhari in Al-Adabul Mufrad no. 1201, An-Nasai in the book 'Amalul Yaum wal Lailah no. 9 page 138, Ibn Sunni no. 70, and Shaikh Abdul Aziz bin Abdullah bin Baaz stated that the chain of narration of Abu Dawud and An-Nasai is hasan. See also Tuhfatul Akhyar, page 23.)
If it is evening, recite:
اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّيْ أَمْسَيْتُ …
Continue by reciting:
اَللَّهُمَّ مَا أَصْبَحَ بِيْ مِنْ نِعْمَةٍ أَوْ بِأَحَدٍ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ فَمِنْكَ وَحْدَكَ لاَ شَرِيْكَ لَكَ، فَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ وَلَكَ الشُّكْرُ.
Alloohumma maa ashbaha bii min ni'matin au bi-ahadin min kholqika faminka wahdaka laa syariika laka, walakal hamdu walakasy-syukru.
"O Allah! The blessing I possess in the morning or which any of Your creation possesses is from You alone, with no partner. To You belongs all praise and to You belongs all gratitude."
"Whoever recites it in the morning, has indeed given thanks for that day. Whoever recites it in the evening has indeed given thanks for that night." (Reported by Abu Dawud 4/318, An-Nasai in the book 'Amalul Yaumi wal Lailah no. 7, page 137, Ibn Sunni no. 41, page 23, Ibn Hibban (Mawaarid) no. 2361. Abdul Aziz bin Baaz stated that the chain of narration is hasan. See Tuhfatul Akhyar, page 24.)

اَللَّهُمَّ مَا أَمْسَى بِيْ …
Alloohhumma maa amsaa bii…

اَللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِيْ فِيْ بَدَنِيْ، اَللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِيْ فِيْ سَمْعِيْ، اَللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِيْ فِيْ بَصَرِيْ، لاَ إِلَـهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ. اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْكُفْرِ وَالْفَقْرِ، وَأَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ، لاَ إِلَـهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ. (3×)
Alloohumma 'aafinii fii badanii, Alloohumma 'aafinii fii sam'ii, Alloohumma 'aafinii fii bashorii, laa ilaaha illaa anta, alloohumma innii a'uudzubika minal kufri wal faqri, wa a'uudzubika min 'adzaabil qobri, laa ilaaha illa anta
"O Allah! Grant me soundness in my body. O Allah! Grant me soundness in my hearing. O Allah! Grant me soundness in my sight. There is no deity except You. O Allah! I seek refuge in You from disbelief and poverty, and I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave. There is no deity except You." (Recited three times morning and evening). (Reported by Abu Dawud 4/324, Ahmad 5/42)
حَسْبِيَ اللهُ لاَ إِلَـهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَهُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيْمِ. (7×)
Hasbiyalloohu laa ilaaha illa huwa 'alaihi tawakkaltu wahuwa robbul 'arsyil azhiim (7x)
"Allah is sufficient for me. There is no deity except Him. Upon Him I rely, and He is the Lord of the Great Throne." (Recited seven times morning and evening).
اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّيْ أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَفْوَ وَالْعَافِيَةَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَاْلآخِرَةِ، اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّيْ أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَفْوَ وَالْعَافِيَةَ فِي دِيْنِيْ وَدُنْيَايَ وَأَهْلِيْ وَمَالِيْ. اَللَّهُمَّ احْفَظْنِيْ مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيَّ، وَمِنْ خَلْفِيْ، وَعَنْ يَمِيْنِيْ وَعَنْ شِمَالِيْ، وَمِنْ فَوْقِيْ، وَأَعُوْذُ بِعَظَمَتِكَ أَنْ أُغْتَالَ مِنْ تَحْتِيْ.
Alloohumma innii as-alukal 'afwa wal 'aafiyata fid dunyaa wal akhiroh, Alloohumma innii as-alukal 'afwa wal 'aafiyata fii diinii wa dunyaaya wa ahlii wa maalii. Alloohummahfazhnii min baina yadayya, wamin kholfii, wa'an yamiinii wa'an syimaalii, wamin fauqii, wa a'uudzu bi'azhomatika an ughtaala min tahtii
"O Allah! I ask You for pardon and well-being in this world and the next. O Allah! I ask You for pardon and well-being in my faith, my worldly life, my family, and my wealth. O Allah! Protect me from before me, behind me, from my right and my left, and from above me. I seek refuge in Your greatness from being killed from below me." (Reported by Abu Dawud and Ibn Majah)
اَللَّهُمَّ عَالِمَ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ فَاطِرَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَاْلأَرْضِ، رَبَّ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَمَلِيْكَهُ، أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لاَ إِلَـهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ، أَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ نَفْسِيْ، وَمِنْ شَرِّ الشَّيْطَانِ وَشِرْكِهِ، وَأَنْ أَقْتَرِفَ عَلَى نَفْسِيْ سُوْءًا أَوْ أَجُرُّهُ إِلَى مُسْلِمٍ.
Alloohumma 'aalimal ghoibi wasy-syahaadati faathiros samaawaati wal ardhi, robba kulli syai-in wa maliikahu. Asyhadu allaa ilaaha illaa anta, a'uudzubika min syarri nafsii, wamin syarrisy syaithooni wa syirkatihi, wa an aqtarifa 'alaa nafsii suu-an au ajurruhuu ilaa muslimin.
"O Allah! Knower of the Unseen and the Seen, Creator of the heavens and the earth, Lord of all things and their Master. I bear witness that there is no deity except You. I seek refuge in You from the evil of my soul and from the evil of Satan and his helpers, and from committing wrong against my soul or leading another Muslim to do wrong." (Reported by At-Tirmidhi and Abu Dawud)
بِسْمِ اللهِ لاَ يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْءٌ فِي اْلأَرْضِ وَلاَ فِي السَّمَاءِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيْعُ الْعَلِيْمُ. (3×)
Bismillahi laa yadhurru ma'as mihii syai-un fil ardhi walaa fis samaa-i wahuwas samii'ul 'aliim (3x)
"In the Name of Allah, nothing on earth or in the heavens can harm, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing." (Recited three times).
"Whoever recites it three times each morning and evening, nothing will harm him." (Reported by Abu Dawud 4/323, At-Tirmidhi 5/465, Ibn Majah, and Ahmad)
رَضِيْتُ بِاللهِ رَبًّا، وَبِاْلإِسْلاَمِ دِيْنًا، وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَبِيًّا. (3×)
Rodhiitu billahi robba, wabil islaami diinaa, wabimuhammadin shollalloohu 'alaihi wasallama nabiyyaa.
"I am pleased with Allah as my Lord, with Islam as my religion, and with Muhammad as my Prophet." (Recited three times).
"Whoever recites it three times each morning and evening, Allah will surely grant him His pleasure on the Day of Judgment." (Reported by Ahmad 4/337, An-Nasai in 'Amalul Yaum wal Lailah no. 4, and Ibn Sunni no. 68)
يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّوْمُ بِرَحْمَتِكَ أَسْتَغِيْثُ، أَصْلِحْ لِيْ شَأْنِيْ كُلَّهُ وَلاَ تَكِلْنِيْ إِلَى نَفْسِيْ طَرْفَةَ عَيْنٍ.
Yaa hayyu yaa qoyyuumu birohmatika astaghiitsu, ashlih lii fii sya`nii kullahuu walaa takilnii ilaa nafsii thorfata 'ainin.
"O Ever-Living, O Self-Sustaining One, by Your mercy I seek help. Put my affairs in order and do not abandon me to myself for even the blink of an eye." (Reported by Al-Hakim)
أَصْبَحْنَا وَأَصْبَحَ الْمُلْكُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ، اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّيْ أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَ هَذَا الْيَوْمِ: فَتْحَهُ، وَنَصْرَهُ وَنُوْرَهُ، وَبَرَكَتَهُ، وَهُدَاهُ، وَأَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا فِيْهِ وَشَرِّ مَا بَعْدَهُ.
Ashbahnaa wa ashbahal mulku lillaahi robbil 'aalamiin. Alloohumma innii as-aluka khoiro haadzal yaumi : fathahu, wanashorohuu wanuurohuu, wabarokatahuu wahudaahu, wa a'uudzubika min syarri maa fiihi wa syarri maa ba'dahuu.
"We have entered the morning and dominion belongs to Allah, Lord of all worlds. O Allah! I ask You for the goodness of this day: its opening, its victory, its light, its blessing, and its guidance. I seek refuge in You from the evil that is in it and the evil that follows it."
If it is evening, recite:
مْسَيْنَا وَأَمْسَى الْمُلْكُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ، اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّيْ أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَ هَذِهِ اللَّيْلَةِ؛ فَتْحَهَا، وَنَصْرَهَا وَنُوْرَهَا، وَبَرَكَتَهَا، وَهُدَاهَا، وَأَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا فِيْهَا وَشَرِّ مَا بَعْدَهَا.
Amsainaa wa amsal mulku lillaahi robbil 'aalamiin. Alloohumma innii as-aluka khoiro haadzihil lailati : fathahaa, wanashorohaa wanuurohaa, wabarokatahaa wahudaahaa, wa a'uudzubika min syarri maa fiihaa wa syarri maa ba'dahaa.

أَصْبَحْنَا عَلَى فِطْرَةِ اْلإِسْلاَمِ وَعَلَى كَلِمَةِ اْلإِخْلاَصِ، وَعَلَى دِيْنِ نَبِيِّنَا مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَعَلَى مِلَّةِ أَبِيْنَا إِبْرَاهِيْمَ، حَنِيْفًا مُسْلِمًا وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِيْنَ.
Ashbahnaa fithrotal islaami wa 'alaa kalimatil ikhlaashi, wa 'alaa diini nabiyyinaa muhammadin shollalloohu 'alaihi wasaalama wa 'alaa millati abiinaa ibroohiima, haniifam muslimaw wamaa kaana minal musyrikiin
"We enter the morning upon the natural faith of Islam, upon the word of sincere worship, upon the religion of our Prophet Muhammad, and upon the way of our father Ibrahim, who stood upright in the truth, a muslim, and was not of those who associate partners with Allah." (Reported by Ahmad 3/406-407, 5/123)
سُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ. (100×)
Subhaanalloohil azhiim. (100x)
"Glorified is Allah and praised be He." (Recited one hundred times). (Reported by Muslim 4/2071)
لاَ إِلَـهَ إِلاَّ اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيْكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرُ. (10× أو 1× عند الكسل)
Laa ilaaha illalloohu wahdahuu laa syariikalah, lahul mulku walahul hamdu wahuwa 'alaa kulli syai-in qodiir. (10 x)
"There is no deity except Allah alone, without any partner. To Him belongs the dominion and to Him belongs all praise, and He is capable of all things." (Recited ten times, or once when feeling lazy). (Reported by Abu Dawud 4/319, Ibn Majah, and Ahmad 4/60)
لاَ إِلَـهَ إِلاَّ اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيْكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرُ. (100× إذا أصبح)
Laa ilaaha illalloohu wahdahuu laa syariikalah, lahul mulku walahul hamdu wahuwa 'alaa kulli syai-in qodiir. (100 x)
"There is no deity except Allah alone, without any partner. To Him belongs the dominion and to Him belongs all praise, and He is capable of all things." (Recited one hundred times each morning).
"Whoever recites it one hundred times in a day will have the reward of freeing ten slaves, one hundred good deeds will be written for him, one hundred bad deeds will be erased from him, and he will have protection from Satan throughout that day until evening. No one does a better deed than this except one who does more of it." (Reported by Al-Bukhari 4/95; Muslim 4/2071)
سُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ: عَدَدَ خَلْقِهِ، وَرِضَا نَفْسِهِ، وَزِنَةَ عَرْشِهِ وَمِدَادَ كَلِمَاتِهِ. (3× إذا أصبح)
Subhaanalloohi wabihamdih : 'adada kholqihi wa ridho nafsihi wazinata 'arsyihi wa midada kalimaatih.
"Glorified is Allah and praised be He, as much as His creation, as much as pleases Him, as much as the weight of His Throne, and as much as the ink of His words." (Recited three times each morning). (Reported by Muslim 4/2090)
اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّيْ أَسْأَلُكَ عِلْمًا نَافِعًا، وَرِزْقًا طَيِّبًا، وَعَمَلاً مُتَقَبَّلاً. (إذا أصبح)
Alloohumma innii al-aluka 'ilman naafi'an, warizqon thoyyiban, wa 'amalan mutaqobbalan.
O Allah! Indeed, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, good sustenance, and accepted deed. (Recited in the morning). (Reported by Ibn As-Sunni in 'Amalul Yaum wal Lailah, no. 54, and Ibn Majah no. 925)
أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللهَ وَأَتُوْبُ إِلَيْهِ. (100× في اليوم)
Astaghfirullooha wa atuubu ilaiih
I seek forgiveness from Allah and repent to Him. (Recited 100 times during the day). (Reported by Al-Bukhari with Fathul Bari 11/101, and Muslim 4/2075)
أَعُوْذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللهِ التَّامَّاتِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ. (3× إذا أمسى)
A'uudzu bikalimaatillaahittaammah min syarri maa kholaqo
I seek refuge in the Perfect Words of Allah from the evil of that which He has created. (Recited 3 times in the evening).
Whoever recites this supplication three times in the evening, no poisonous creature will harm him that night. (Reported by Ahmad 2/290, An-Nasai in 'Amalul Yaum wal Lailah, no. 590, and Ibn Sunni no. 68)
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمْ عَلَى نَبِيِّنَا مُحَمَّدٍ. (10×)
Alloohumma sholli wasallim 'alaa nabiyyinaa muhammadin
O Allah! Bestow blessings and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad. (Recited 10 times). Whoever sends blessings upon me ten times in the morning and ten times in the evening receives my intercession on the Day of Judgment. (Reported by At-Thabarani through two chains, both good)
