Supplication for Abundant Sustenance

اَلْحَمْدُ ِللهِ الَّذِىْ رَزَقَنِىْ هذَا مِنْ خَيْرِ حَوْلٍ مِنِّى وَلاَقُوَّةٍ، اَللهُمَّ بَارِكْ فِيْهِ

AL-HAMDU LILLAAHIL LADZII ROZAQONII HAADZA MIN GHAIRI HAULIN MINNII WA LAA QUWWATIN, ALLOOHUMMA BAARIK FIIH.

All praise belongs to Allah, Who has given me this sustenance without any power or strength from me. O Allah, bless it for me.

اَللهُمَّ اِنِّىْ اَسْأَلُكَ اَنْ تَرْزُقَنِىْ رِزْقًا حَلاَلاً وَاسِعًا طَيِّبًا مِنْ غَيْرِ تَعَبٍ وَلاَمَشَقَّةٍ وَلاَضَيْرٍ وَلاَنَصَبٍ اِنَّكَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ

ALLOOHUMMA INNII AS-ALUKA AN TARZUQONII RIZQON HALAALAN WAASI'AN THOYYIBAN MIN GHAIRI TA'ABIN WALA MASYAQQOTIN WALAA DHOIRIN WALAA NASHABIN INNAKA 'A-LAA KULLI SYAI-IN QODIIR

O Allah, I ask You to grant me sustenance that is halal, abundant, and good, without hardship or difficulty or harm or burden. Indeed, You are capable of all things.

اَللهُمَّ اكْفِنِي بِحَلاَلِكَ عَنْ حَرَامِكَ وَأَغْنِني بِفَضْلِكَ عَمَّنْ سِـوَاكَ

Alloohummakfinii bihalaalika 'an haroomika wa aghninii bifadhlikal 'azhiimi 'amman siwaak.

O Allah, suffice me with what is halal against what is forbidden, and make me independent of need by Your grace other than You." (Reported by At-Tirmidhi 5/560, see Sahih At-Tirmidhi 3/180)

اَللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا أَنْزِلْ عَلَيْنَا مَائِدَةً مِنَ السَّمَاءِ تَكُوْنُ لَنَا عِيْدًا لِأَوَّلِنَا وَءَاخِرِنَا وَءَايَةً مِنْكَ وَارْزُقْنَا وَأَنْتَ خَيْرُ الرَّازِقِينَ

Alloohumma robbanaa adzil maa-idatam minassamaa-i takuunu lanaa 'iidal li-awwalinaa wa aakhirinaa wa aayatam minka warzuqnaa wa anta khoirur rooziqiin.

"Our Lord, send down to us a table spread with food from the heavens that will be a feast for us - for the first of us and the last of us - and a sign from You. And provide for us, and You are the Best of Providers." (Qur'an 5:114)

The virtue of asking for sustenance is that Allah may ease it for you so that you will not be negligent in performing obedience. Sustenance is of two kinds: that which strengthens the body like food, clothing, and shelter, and that which strengthens the heart like beneficial knowledge (religious knowledge) and righteous deeds. The request for sustenance encompasses both kinds.

اَللّٰهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْكُفْرِ وَالْفَقْرِ وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ

Alloohumma innii a'uudzubika minal kufri wal faqri wa 'adzaabil qobri

"O Allah, I seek refuge in You from disbelief, poverty, and the punishment of the grave." (Reported by Ahmad, An-Nasai, and Abu Shaibah)
