Supplications During Pregnancy Until Childbirth
اَللهُمَّ سَلِّمْنَا مِنْ آفَاتِ الدُّنْيَا وَعَذَابِ الْاَخِرَةِ فِتْنَتِهِمَا وَفَضِيْحَتِهِمَا اِنَّكَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْئٍ قَدِيْرٌ. اَللهُمَّ سَلِّمْ جَنِيْنَهَا وَعَافِ مَا فِى بَطْنِهَا مِمَّا لاَنَرْجُوْهُ وَنَخَافُ. سَلاَمٌ عَلَى نُوْحٍ فِى الْعَالَمِيْنَ اِنَّا كَذَلِكَ نَجْزِى الْمُحْسِنِيْنَ. اَللهُمَّ اِنَّا نَسْأَلُكَ بِجَاهِ سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اَنْ نُصَلِّيَ عَلَيْهِ وَاَنْ نُسَلِّمَ جَنِيْنَهَا مِنَ الْآفَاتِ وَالْعَاهَاتِ وَاْلاَمْرَاضِ وَعَنْ اُمِّ مُلْدَانِ بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَااَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ. رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ اَزْوَاجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّاتِنَا قُرَّةَ اَعْيُنٍ وَاجْعَلْنَا لِلْمُتَّقِيْنَ اِمَامًا.
Alloohumma sallimna min aafaatid dunyaa wa 'adzaabil aakhiroti fitnatihimaa wa fadhiihatihimaa innaka 'alaa kulli syai-in qodiir. Alloohumma sallim janiinahaa wa 'aafi maa fii bathnihaa mimmaa laa narjuuhu wa nakhoof. Salaamun 'alaa nuuhin fil 'aalamiin, innaa kadzaalika najzil muhsiniin. Alloohumma innaa nas-aluka bijaahi sayyidinaa muhammadin shollalloohu 'alaihi wasallam an nusholliya 'alaihi wanusallima janiinahaa minal aafaati wal 'aahaati, wal amroodhi wa 'an ummi muldaani birohmatika yaa arhamar roohimiin. Robbanaa hab lanaa min azwaajinaa wadzurriyyatinaa qurrota a'yun, waj'alnaa lil muttaqiina imaamaa
Supplication during pregnancy:
O Allah, protect us from the calamities of this world and the punishment of the Hereafter, their temptations and their disgrace. Indeed, You are capable of all things. O Allah, preserve the fetus and protect what is in the womb from that which we do not hope for and which we fear. Peace be upon Noah throughout the worlds. Indeed, in this way We reward those who do good. O Allah, we ask You by the status of our master Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) that You grant us blessings upon him, and protect this fetus from calamities, diseases, illnesses, and from Umm Muldan, by Your mercy, O Most Merciful of all who show mercy. Our Lord, grant us from our spouses and offspring comfort to our eyes, and make us leaders for the God-conscious.
اَللهُمَّ اجْعَلْهُ مُسْلِمًا صَالِحًا عَابِدًا ذَاكِرًا حَافِظًا لِلْقُرْاَنِ الْكَرِيْم وَمِمَنْ يَعْمَلُوْنِ بِهِ. اَللهُمَّ اجْعَلْهُ بَارًّا بِوَالِدَيْهِ وَأَهْلِهِ. اَللهُمَّ حَسِّنْ خَلْقَهُ وَخُلُقَهُ. اَللهُمَّ أَعِذْهُ مْنِ شَيَاطِيْنِ اْلاِنْسِ وَالْجِنِّ. اَللهُمَّ سَهِّلْ وَيَسِّرْ حَمْلَهُ وَوِلَادَتَهُ. اَللهُمَّ أَقِرَّعَيْنِي بِهِ. اَللهُمَّ ارْزُقْنِيْ وَلَدًا وَاجْعَلْهُ تَقِيًّا ذَكِيًا. وَاجْعَلْهُ سَلِيْمًا مُعَافِيً وَلاَ تَجْعَلْ فِي خَلْقِهِ زِيَادَةً وَلاَ نُقْصَانًا. وَاجْعَلْ عَاقِبَتَهُ إِلَى الْخَيْرِ. اَللهُمَّ اَصْلِحْ لِي ذَاتِي وَذُرِّ يَتَي. اَللهُمَّ اسْتَوْدَعْتُكَ هَذَاالْجَنِيْنَ فَحَسِّنْ فِي خَلْقِهِ وَأَخْلاَقِهِ يَارَبَّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ. اَللهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَسْأَلُكَ هَوْنَ الطَلْقِ وَحُسْنَ الْخُلُقِ.
Alloohummaj'alhu musliman shoolihan, aabidan, dzaakiron, haafizhon lil qur-aanil kariimi wa mimman ya'maluuna bih. Alloohummaj'alhu baarron biwaalidaihi wa ahlihii. Allohumma hassin kholqohuu wakhuluqoh. Alloohumma a'idzhu min syayaathiinil insi wal jinn. Alloohumma sahhil wa yassir hamlahuu wa wilaadatah. Alloohumma aqirro 'ainii bih. Alloohumarzuqnii waladan waj'alhu taqiyyan dzakiyyan. Waj'alhu saliiman mu'aafiyan walla taj'al fii kholqihii ziyaadatan wala nuqshoonan. Waj'al 'aaqibatahuu ilal khoiir. Allohumma ashlih lii dzaatii wa dzurriyyatii. Alloohummas tauda'tuka haadzal janiina fahassin fii kholqihii wa akhlaaqihii yaa robbal 'aalamiin. Alloohumma innii as-aluka haunath tholqi wahusnal khuluqi
O Allah, make him a righteous Muslim, devoted to worship, remembering You, preserving the Qur'an and acting by it. O Allah, make him dutiful to his parents and family. O Allah, beautify his appearance and character. O Allah, protect him from the devils of mankind and jinn. O Allah, make easy and facilitate his gestation and delivery. O Allah, grant me delight in him. O Allah, grant me a child and make him God-conscious and intelligent. Make him healthy and sound, and do not put in his creation any excess or deficiency. Make his end to goodness. O Allah, set right my state and my offspring. O Allah, I entrust this fetus to You, so beautify his appearance and character, O Lord of the worlds. O Allah, I ask You for ease of childbirth and good character.
When you begin to feel signs that delivery is near, you should frequently recite the following supplication approaching childbirth. Not only you, but those who are with you should also help by reciting this supplication.
"Hannaa Waladat Maryama, Wa Maryama Waladat Iisaa, Ukhruj Ayyuhal Mauluudu Biqudrotil Malikil Ma'buudi".
"Hanna gave birth to Maryam, and Maryam gave birth to Isa. So come out, O newborn, by the power of Allah the Worshipped."
When your baby has been born, the husband should call the adhan to him. After that, recite the following supplication softly in his right ear.
"Innii u'iidzuhaa bika wa dzurriyyatahaa minas syaithoonir rojiimi, Alloohumma baarik lanaa wa lihaadzal waladi fii hayaatihii wa thowwil 'umrohuu bi thoo'atika Yaa arhamar Roohimiin".
"I entrust her and her offspring to Your protection from the evil of the cursed Satan. O Allah, bestow blessings upon us and this child in his life, and lengthen his years in obedience to You, O Most Merciful of all who show mercy."
بَارَكَ اللهُ لَكَ فِي الْمَوْهُوْبِ لَكَ، وَشَكَرْتَ الْوَاهِبَ، وَبَلَغَ أَشُدَّهُ، وَرُزِقْتَ بِرَّهُ. وَيَرُدُّ عَلَيْهِ الْمُهَنَّأُ فَيَقُوْلُ: بَارَكَ اللهُ لَكَ وَبَارَكَ عَلَيْكَ، وَجَزَاكَ اللهُ خَيْرًا، وَرَزَقَكَ اللهُ مِثْلَهُ، وَأَجْزَلَ ثَوَابَكَ.
Baarokalloohu laka fil mauhuubi lak, wasyakartal wahhaab, wabalagho asyuuddah, waruziqta birroh. (the one congratulated responds)
Baarokalloohu laka wabaaroka 'alaika wa jazaakalloohu khoiron, warozaqoka mitslah, wa ajzala tsawaabak.
"May Allah bless you in the gift granted to you. You are grateful to the Giver, and may he reach his maturity and you are granted his kindness." The one congratulated responds: "May Allah bless you and bestow blessings upon you. May Allah reward you with good. May Allah grant you the like of it, and increase your reward manifold."
