Several Mistakes at Muzdalifah When Performing Hajj

Some pilgrims, when arriving at Muzdalifah for the first time, make mistakes such as being preoccupied with collecting pebbles before performing the Maghrib and Isha prayers, and they believe that the pebbles for stoning the pillars must be collected from Muzdalifah.

The truth is that it is permissible to collect the pebbles from any place in the Sacred Territory. Because the correct report from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) indicates that he never commanded that the pebbles for stoning the al-Aqabah pillar be collected from Muzdalifah.

It was only that pebbles were collected for him in the morning when leaving Muzdalifah after entering Mina. The rest of the pebbles he collected from Mina.

There are also some who wash the pebbles with water, but this is not prescribed in the Shariah.
