The following nine movements apply to all prayers, obligatory and optional—only the number of rak'ahs differs. Pay attention to the placement of the hands, the straightness of the back, and the position of the feet in each image.
On a rak'ah not ended with the greeting, after the second prostration, stand again directly to the next rak'ah without testimony. The initial testimony is only on the second rak'ah of a prayer consisting of three or four rak'ahs, sitting in the 'iftirāsh position like sitting between the two prostrations.
