يٰٓاَيُّهَا الْمُدَّثِّرُۙ
1. O thou wrapped up (in the mantle)
قُمْ فَاَنْذِرْۖ
2. Arise and deliver thy warning
وَرَبَّكَ فَكَبِّرْۖ
3. And thy Lord do thou magnify
وَثِيَابَكَ فَطَهِّرْۖ
4. And thy garments keep free from stain
وَالرُّجْزَ فَاهْجُرْۖ
5. And all abomination shun
وَلَا تَمْنُنْ تَسْتَكْثِرُۖ
6. Nor expect, in giving, any increase (for thyself)
وَلِرَبِّكَ فَاصْبِرْۗ
7. But, for thy Lord's (Cause), be patient and constant
فَاِذَا نُقِرَ فِى النَّاقُوْرِۙ
8. Finally, when the Trumpet is sounded
